A Kitchen for Cooking, Creating and Local Collaboration

The working kitchen at our Wellingtons Kitchens showroom in Erith has been welcoming a familiar face from the Bake Off tent.

We’ve been working alongside Wellingtons Electrical with Lesley Anne Bakes, whose Lesley appeared on The Great British Bake Off in 2025. Lesley has been using our showroom kitchen for collaborations involving Dockyard jams, Chapel Down and Hoads Korker Sausages, bringing local baking talent and Kent produce into the space.

It’s a pleasure to see our kitchen being used to help local businesses work together.

Giving Good Ideas Somewhere to Happen

Having an idea for a collaboration is one thing; having somewhere to bring it to life is another.

By making our working kitchen available to Lesley, we can offer a practical setting for her work with other businesses. She brings the creativity and baking experience, while the producers bring their own products, knowledge and ideas.

From preserves to wine and sausages, these collaborations bring together businesses with different specialisms and a shared connection to Kent. Our showroom provides the space where those connections can develop.

Supporting Local Businesses Through Working Together

We believe supporting local businesses includes finding opportunities to help each other.

That might mean sharing a space, introducing a business to a new audience or showing how its products can be used. Working with Lesley gives us an opportunity to do all three, while celebrating the talent and produce around us.

For a family business like Wellingtons, those relationships matter. We enjoy getting to know the people behind other businesses and finding ways for our work to complement theirs.

See Our Showroom Kitchen in Action

These collaborations also show our showroom doing what it was designed for: cooking.

When you’re planning a kitchen, the layout, work surfaces and appliances all need to work together. Seeing a kitchen being used brings those choices to life and reminds us why thoughtful design matters.

Wellingtons Kitchens and Wellingtons Electrical are part of the same family business, bringing kitchen design, appliances and installation together. Whether you’re a keen baker or simply want everyday meals to feel easier, our team can help you plan a kitchen around your needs.

Visit our Erith showroom to explore the displays and talk through your ideas. We’d love to help you create a kitchen you’ll enjoy using.
