Our client had visited a friend and family member who’d both had Wellingtons Kitchens and were very pleased with them. Their previous kitchen, installed 17 years ago, was showing signs of wear and tear. They had already completed an extension and were keen on updating their kitchen to match the light and airy space.
When they visited Wellingtons Kitchens they were impressed by the designs and quality of work. Lorraine, their designer, played a crucial role in guiding them through the process. “Lorraine was great and gave us lots of ideas as we weren’t sure what we wanted,”
Features and Additions
- Breakfast Bar and Drinks Area: To enhance functionality and entertainment, a breakfast bar was added, which also doubled as a drinks bar for gatherings.
- Statement Splash Back: During their showroom visit, the clients fell in love with a particular splash back, which became a statement piece in their new kitchen. When it was being installed the fitter commented that the only other one like this he’d installed was in Chelsea. They remarked, “If it’s good enough for Chelsea, it’s good enough for this area!”
- Seamless Integration: The new kitchen was designed to work seamlessly with the dining area and open onto the garden, enhancing the flow of the home.
From the initial planning to the final execution, the couple experienced superb service.
“From start to finish, the service, planning, and execution were superb. The designer started with a good plan and was very patient and helpful with accommodating changes.”
The installation process was smooth, with high standards maintained throughout. The clients praised the fitters, plumber, electrician, and worktop and splash back templaters for their thoroughness and respectfulness. “The fitters were great. The few snags that are inevitable were resolved easily”.
The clients were delighted with the outcome and the overall experience with Wellingtons Kitchens.
“We’d been thinking about a kitchen refit for a while, this company did work for a family member and a friend and in looking at what they had done, we thought it was rather good and they were also really pleased. From start to finish, the service, planning and execution was superb. The designer started with a good plan and was very patient and helpful with accommodating changes and it all works really well. The fitters, plumber, sparky, templaters for worktop and splash back were all really thorough and respectful and the work standard was high. These are the guys you need, it’s such a shame this trade gets a bad name. The guys couldn’t do enough and again were patient with any improvements I wanted to add. The few snags that are inevitable were resolved easily. We even got a free griddle pan. Couldn’t recommend Wellingtons and the team enough.”
Wellingtons Kitchens successfully transformed an aging kitchen into a modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing space, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
