Having installed their previous kitchen themselves, our customer came to us with good knowledge of how a kitchen goes together.
Their next-door neighbour was in the process of getting their new kitchen installed by Wellingtons Kitchens and were very pleased with the service they had received.
Our customer has a clear idea of the look they wanted to achieve but needed some assistance with the layout.
For example, their old kitchen had a peninsular and a lot of space that wasn’t being utilised. You could only enter the kitchen from one side, which restricted flow and cut off the accompanying sitting/dining area.
The new space is more streamlined, you can move easily between the kitchen, dining room and sitting area which is perfect for socialising.
Our customer’s love entertaining, and this space has become the go to for gatherings.
We replaced the old peninsula with an island unit, this reduced the number of worktop corners and gave more workable worktop space.
Wellingtons Kitchens introduced a compact microwave into the island. This works really well if you have eye level ovens but also want a separate area for cooking/baking.
It meant our customers could both cook at the same time, but still have their own separate zones.
